About
A yoga teacher is akin to an aging wine. The older he gets, the longer he teaches, the more insightful, the more understanding, the more grounded and the more real (s)he is. Apart from having taught yoga for 14 years, I have studied sports sciences in Germany and worked as a gymnastics coach for over 30 years. This gives me unique insights and experience into bodies, new ones and aging ones. More importantly, the body is only the gateway to higher truths, whcih is what really interests me. Apart from that I combine Byron Katie's THE WORK, and kinesiological knowlegde from David Hawkins with my teachings.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students are invited to participate in class and see for themselves how fitting or not the format is. After that I suggest private lessons if needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master in Sports Sciences from Sports University in Colohgne
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes there is a standard pricing system which I am happy to share with those that are interested.
How did you get started teaching?
More or less by chance and because I was in need of something different from gymnastics.
What types of students have you worked with?
From the very young to the very old. From the fittest to the less and less fit ones.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Teaching a seminar about the Work. Clear your thoughts and your mind, and live a less stressful life, which will also show up in your body
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Trust your own instincts and intuition when looking for a teacher. Those who promise a lot and rave about their art are to be taken cautiously.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Regardless of how long and intense a student thinks through questions to ask to a teacher, it will always be the right question at that time, followed by more questions later. So relax.
