About

I provide group and one-on-one yoga and meditation classes, as well as private yoga therapy sessions.

My background education is in exercise science, which allows me to direct my yoga therapy expertise on a person's specific musculoskeletal issues.

I have taught yoga for nearly 20 years and love helping people find their best selves on a physical, mental and emotional level.

You can find more information about me on my website - www.di4yoga.com

My passion is helping tailor yoga and meditation practices to each individuals personal needs at the time we're working together. Making yoga and meditation accessible to everyone is one of my strong points.

I have worked with all age groups: kids through octogenarians. Working with adults is my preference, as I really love the back and forth communication, It helps me dig deeper into finding the best sequencing and pacing for the person.

I've taught in gyms, and numerous yoga studios. I work yearly with a military housing group, and also offer (currently) online evening yoga with post session chat sessions.

My educational background is in exercise science, but I fell in love with yoga over 20 years ago, and haven't looked back once.

Diane is an understanding, extremely knowledgeable yoga instructor. I had the gift of working with Diane one-on-one to support my recovery from a back injury I struggled with for years. From the moment we met, her warm demeanor and professionalism put me at ease and allowed me to embrace our work. Diane taught me how to listen to my body, move mindfully and heal myself from within. She is a true gem!

I have a Masters Degree in Exercise Science with a focus on Biomechanics

I am a Yoga Alliance ERYT500 instructor, as well as a continuing education provider

I am a Certified Yoga Therapist through IAYT

I authored Instructing Hatha Yoga: A Guide for Teachers and Students

My pricing is dependent upon the number of students, and the venue. (In my home studio, the studio I teach group classes in, or at a student's home)

I was a personal trainer and recognized that I had a calling to teach yoga.

I have worked with a wide variety of students. Most of my current students are between the ages of 30 and 70. I teach one-on-one sessions based on each person's individual wants and needs.

Many students have orthopedic issues, or other musculoskeletal needs. May people come to me after they have finished physical therapy, to continue their healing process.

I teach yearly for Lincoln Military Housing. It's an honor to work with military families. This year, because of Covid, I had the opportunity to offer yoga to a wider group, since all classes were live streamed. It was so great seeing families practice yoga together.

I think it's of utmost importance that a student get as much information on a prospective teacher as possible, and to see if there is an appropriate "fit" between the individuals.

Where they will feel most comfortable taking the class, and how much they are willing to pay for the teacher's services.
