In today's time-crunched world, getting great results with minimum time commitment is a major plus.  The SuperSlow protocol was developed back in the 80's, and is used worldwide to drive home results through a slowed-down, high intensity resistance training regimen.

Each workout is one:one with a certified instructor, there to ensure your safety and push you to your limit.  We're here to make you FAIL!!! (Or at least, to bring your muscles to failure)  While many start out twice/week, our objective is to get you muscles working so hard that you NEED a week in-between workouts.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Every prospective client MUST go through an initial consultation and demo workout, to ensure this is the right program for YOU.  While we work with all ages (14-90+) and can work with many medical conditions, we want to be sure this is do-able.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am the owner/manager and Level III trainer with the SuperSlow Institute.  We've been here for 10 years, and have changed hundreds of lives!

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Pricing depends on whether you come once- versus twice-week, but is reflective of the fact that you have personal attention each & every workout (we do NOT like to call ourselves a "gym" as a result - we are a fitness studio!).  As such, you can't compare us TO a gym, but when compared against other personal trainers, plus factoring in the small time commitment, you'll see it's truly competitive!

How did you get started teaching?

This was a try-before-you-buy for me!  I was in technology & finance prior, and wanted to make a change, moving to entrepreneur mode with something that would, well, MEAN something and make a difference to others' lives.  I found SuperSlow while looking at potential franchise opportunities, and began my own workouts with what was then a Fremont facility.  After just three weeks, I myself saw my back issues literally go away, and gathered feedback and witnessed changes in their clientele.  Given how easy it was to fit it in while commuting San Jose:Pleasanton (once/week), I *knew* this was something that others in Silicon Valley could benefit from.

What types of students have you worked with?

All ages, all levels of physical conditions!  From those competiting (surfing, cycling, golfers, etc.) to those needing it for their trade's physical requirements (ballet, dentists, etc.) to executives, students, and retirees - it truly fits most every lifestyle!
