About

I offer highly informed and goal-oriented at-home and on-site private yoga sessions.

I teach pressed-for-time individuals who are committed to reconnecting to their own strength, as well as bring more balance into their busy lives. When you make time to take care of yourself, you become more clear, present and confident you can tackle any challenge life throws at you.

You and I would be a good fit if you:

# are ready to reclaim your physical and mental health, but are not too sure how;

# want a thorough, efficient practice tailored to your personal goals and needs;

# need tangible and observable results;

# value the trust and support of a teacher that knows exactly where you're coming from.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

What I most enjoy about my work is the natural relationship building that occurs in the specific setting of private sessions. As I gain greater insight on the underlying needs of my clients (psycho-emotional and physical), I'm better equipped to prepare our next session with purpose and meaning.

Bottom line, I love working with my private clients and we always end up having a lot of fun. Our hour together is to really get out of our heads and dive into the body.

Looking forward to working with you!

Every day I meet new people, we connect, move together, breathe. I love it how the yoga room can be safe space for practitioners, where they can come and enjoy themselves. I like providing a sacred space for quiet, grounding and centering.

Frequently asked questions

In our first session together I'll be asking questions ranging all the way from specific goals, to current lifestyle, so I can better asses their specific needs. Then, based on my client's goals, I start to put together a program that we can work on over the upcoming weeks. An important part of my work involves offering respectful hands-on assists, usually soothing and grounding.

I'm a full-time private yoga teacher, an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher - 500 through Yoga Alliance, with over 1,800 hours of formal training and 7 years of experience. I'm certified to teach alignment-based, gentle, flow, therapeutic, restorative and prenatal classes. Currently I'm mentoring with a sought-after physical therapist based in San Francisco, Harvey Deutch. I also have an undergrad in Psychology.

STANDARD PRICING, I offer 2 options:

$90 - Private yoga for 1 person

$110 - Private yoga for 2 people

CLASSES MAY BE RESCHEDULED, 24 HOUR CANCELLATION APPLIES.

I found yoga by accident, the best accident I could ever be in. In a time of high stress and changing life circumstances, I learned I was jacked up and overwhelmed with what I was facing. Through yoga -- for the first time in my life, I dare say -- I was able to calm down, gain perspective and ground. To me yoga has become a tool for self-regulation that has greatly enriched my life.

I've worked with busy professionals, young and mature adults, expectant mothers, people healing from injuries and senior citizens in a therapeutic setting.

A recent project I'm very fond of was coming up with SPREAD YOUR WINGS: a therapeutic series for a happy and healthy spine. In this 4 part series, I had to narrow down into 4 hours the key elements that would help my clients understand the basics of proper posture.

The body of work on this subject is pretty vast, so I had a lot of fun putting it together, like a puzzle. My main goal was to equip my clients with easy go-to yoga stretches and basic knowledge of how to hold their bodies.

As soon as we concluded the series, I had other students asking for a second edition - which I will offer in October at SATORI YOGA STUDIO.

I'd advise prospective clients to ask for proof of credentials and experience. Check their Google and YELP profiles to make sure the person they are hiring is really a pro. It takes years and effort to build those profiles, and that shows a teacher's experience. Do your research to make sure you hire a pro!

In my case, customers should decide if they're ready to commit to at least one hour of private yoga a week, and potentially complement that with other type of physical exercise, or add a second regularly attended class to their schedule. Progress, in any area, is all about consistency. If they're willing to show up, I show up.
