About
I focus on yoga for a sustainable lifestyle; from power movement or relaxation techniques you will increase joint stability, balance, range of motion and strength. I emphasize alignment and explain the purpose of each movement so that you leave each session with a greater understanding of your own anatomy. This communication style makes yoga accessible to those who are new to yoga as well as those who are looking to deepen their practice. I love helping others reach their wellness goals through yoga. It never gets old to see peoples' faces (those "ah-ha" moments) as I micro-adjust their posture and suddenly they feel different in their bodies! I'm after a sustainable, flexible, healthy, fit and focused life. It is always a pleasure working with individuals who feel the same way."

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start with a short phone call. We talk about your interests and goals for health and wellness, we make sure logistics line up, and then we schedule our session together at a convenient time and place that fits into your life's schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My yoga training education comes from Yoga Tree in San Francisco. I've also enjoyed over a decade of practice from instructors across the US as well as a strong personal at home practice. For the past 5 years, I have taught primarily private sessions with clients ranging from 20 to 80-yrs-old, some healthy and others working through major health challenges including obesity, cancer, and healing from broken bones/surgery.
My personal training education comes from NASM and ISSA while my experience training has come from Fast Pace Personal Training (fastpacept.com). My clients have ranged from 7 to 75-yrs-old. My nutrition experience is also from ISSA.
Every year I further my education with a new certificate in order to better serve my diverse community.
