We are not the usual fitness club or Indian-style yoga studio. We offer classes that include Asian-style meridian energy yoga, taichi-qigong, energy vibration, acupressure healing techniques and moving meditation.  You can accelerate the benefits from these classes by taking our in-depth workshops to grow in experience and knowledge of your self-healing abilities.  We also offer personal training and health coaching to create your own healthy lifestyle, based on traditional Tao healing principles.

    Like so many others, I started attending Body and Brain Yoga to improve my health. I was rather curious about the practice. Once I started, I got hooked! I found much more than just an exercise or stretching program. I had no idea about the positive impact this training would have on my emotional and spiritual health! The instructors really care about my total well-being and I was surprised by the diversity of the exercises, even in a single class. They combine meridian exercises, breath and consciousness for maximum effectiveness. Unlike other places, instructors at Body and Brain gave me the tools to become aware of my body and I am now learning how to overcome my limits safely. Attending classes regularly has become a way of life for me. I will always be grateful I found this Yoga practice. If you want to improve your body and mind health, and are looking for something different and effective, I strongly recommend it!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We always prefer to meet with prospective students personally before they start our classes.  This way we can help each new person develop a self-care plan that meets their needs - this may include group classes, personal coaching and workshops, or some combination, customized to their needs.  It's always their choice!


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All Body & Brain head masters have many years of training in integrative health principles, methods and techniques, including class instruction, acupressure healing, energy healing and brain education to help members learn to own and manage their own physical health, energy balance and emotional conditions.
