About

As a Master Level Trainer,

I have devoted 10's of thousands of hours to training my clients as well as continuing my education within the field. When it comes to breaking a client's fitness plateaus or rehabilitating an injury experience is invaluable.

The diversity of the programming can be from Medical Condition Specific Training for weight loss, Sport Specific Workouts, Boxing For Fitness to Tactical Conditioning for law enforcement and military. I am confident enough to say that boredom would never be an issue with your regimen.

I like working out with Richard because I have never been able to push myself physically like he can. Weather it’s boxing, weights, push ups, and other exercises his knowledge of correct form along with his encouragement to challenge myself has allowed me to stay fit! Thanks Richard!!

Richard Ruiz tailors a program that fits your personal training needs and goals, including diet. I have been overweight for most of my life, and I needed someone who understands my body type with the patience to work with me as I have bad habits, especially during COVID. Richard has been my savior as I gained confidence that I can be healthy if I follow his process. Richard has the patience and understanding to know that its a journey and he assures you that he will be with you every step of the way in your fitness journey. I highly recommend Richard Ruiz and STAC FITNESS!!!

I worked with Richard for years learning the fundamentals of boxing, in addition to strength/conditioning while rehabilitating from major knee surgery. Excellent trainer with wide variety of tools to meet client goals. Richard is the real deal in personal training. Tom Cabibi Denver, CO

    Frequently asked questions

Always consider the client's initial wants and expectations before you discuss the actual needs of the client.
My clients have ranged.in age from 8-80 years of age, literally. And skill sets range from soccer moms to student athletes, as well as professional athletes.
The only events and the ones I always remember and appreciate are the positive emotional changes I see in clients. Those come much quicker than the physical ones. They're so proud of their commitment to bettering their lives. Also hearing "You've changed my life" always sounds pretty great.
My advice would be to do your homework and research your potential hire and their style of training. This would include their website and business LinkedIn account. This would be a start for a potentially good matchup.
The main one would be are you absolutely sure you would like to commit to this? Because it may take a few weeks to months to get your body adapting to the point of seeing change. Also, be realistic about finances. It is an investment, but what's more important than investing in your future Health? Right?
