Individualized training is always the standard, mixed with group practice to develop skills in a two phase approach that allows the student to grow and apply what they’re learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The instructor has been initially trained in Shaolin Kung Fu, and then made his transition at the age of 12 to EBMAS Wing Tsun Kung Fu and has been training ever since.
The instructor is also a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado, and a Nationally Certified Counselor, which contributes to the mental development each student receives in addition to their Martial Arts training.

What types of students have you worked with?
All shapes sizes, athleticism, race, gender, age.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A female student that had to stop training due to life circumstances, returned after a 6 month absence. During an anti-grappling routine, she threw the instructor, who though he should take it easy on her as she is 16 years old and had been gone for so long, straight onto the mat effortlessly. She laughed and said, “Even though I’ve been out, I still train and always will. I LOVE wing Tsun!”
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are less about business and more about your personal development.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is the purpose of my training: Self-Defense, mental health, traditional experience, competition fighting, etc.? This will help the instructor to tailor the training to the student.
