I have been studying Aikido since 1971 and am currently a 7th degree black belt and a certified shihan (master instructor) with the Aikikai Foundation in Tokyo, Japan.
I began teaching at the Aikikai headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, as an assistant to Seijuro Masada. I started the first Aikido school in Northampton, MA, Aikido Wichita in Wichita, KS and the Greater Hartford Aikikai in the Hartford, CT area.
