Digno
About
My name is Digno Ortiz that came from Puerto Rico many years ago. I have been doing boxing for the past 18 years throughout my childhood and adult life. During my childhood development, I did a combination of contact sport such as Sikaran is a simple but intense martial art game that originated from the town of Baras, in the province of Rizal. The hands are built to block and dodge, and some hand strikes are used only by SIKARAN practitioners. One of my Master Juaquin introduced me to the art of fighting. I learned from his philosophy that the slower you practice your technique, no matter how simple the methods look, it improves your skills. So, for example, it will enhance ten times better than practicing punching and kicks because there are essential details about that kick and punching technique that could only be noticed by doing it slowly. So fighting is always a sport that I could relate to because of the amateur fighting experiences.
I learn how to train people from the same background that I grow up with and older people who want body movement. This reason inspires me to make a difference. Brasilian jujitsu in Sento MMA located in 1452 Memorial Ave, West Springfield, MA 01089 · ~6.7 mi
is when I found another martial arts that allow me to improve my skills and knowledge as a fighter. Sento jujitsu master teaches me ground fighting, being patient with an opponent who could be more robust than I am, and utilizing his strength against him. Even though boxing is my favorite sport, all these professional instructors taught me the art of fighting, self-control, discipline, and identifying different scenarios and could potentially escalate if I lose my cool or if someone else does. During my practices, I want to get to know what my client's needs are. For example, it could be feeling healthier due to a medical condition, which takes me to the next step to finding out what exercise is proper for that particular need of this client. Another aspect could be health at all sizes. For instance, some clients prefer just not engaging in losing weight, but to have a movement that aligns with them. Getting the information from the client allows me to get a complete picture of and create the best goals that resignate the most with the client. Is always a great experiences to understads clients needs and provide the best contribuation posible to everyon improve health.
