About
I have been an Occupational Therapist since 1988, specializing in Geriatrics, and a Yoga Teacher since 2014.
I am passionate about helping people find ways to learn and connect to their bodies, understand injuries/ways to modify approach to yoga or other activities, relieve pain, realize and adjust habitual movement patterns, and find more freedom and strength to enjoy life!
I recently moved to NH from CT, and using Zoom for group and private classes. Private lessons can be individual or in a small group, on Zoom or in your home/backyard.
I carry Professional Yoga Liability Insurance, RYT-500 certification through Yoga Alliance, as well as current State of NH and CT Professional OT License.

I love helping people feel better! In my many years of experience in a variety of settings, I strongly believe that knowledge is power, and movement is medicine to relieve so many ailments. Working individually with people is so useful to offer opportunities to personalize interventions, problem solve, answer questions and share what I've learned from my own teachers, other patients and our collective experiences.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other. I listen to the student's history, learn about illnesses, injuries, current lifestyle challenges or other concerns, to better understand the starting point, and what they hope to gain from yoga. The conversation progresses to asking and answering questions of each other to set goals for our sessions, deciding on areas to foucs on. This can be especially helpful for someone who knows they have pain for example, but unsure what to do or how to start. The first session also includes intro to yoga as needed, and/or working through specific postures to address goals. I am happy to offer a few ideas on what to do on your own if interested. Ideally, we meet again within 1-2 weeks to assess and progress the plan.
