About
My interest in training and nutrition began in 2011. As the years past yoga also became an important part of my life. After immersing myself into a daily yoga practice with Yoga District, I was inspired to deepen my practice and became RYT-200 certified yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. As a teacher, I focus on alignment, balance, and building flexibility and strength. Personal training and Nutrition background allow me to design an ultimate program for my students. I believe that in any practice, everyone is both a teacher and a learner and so continue to seek out experiences that deepen my own practice and enhance what I can bring to a student.
Namaste!
As a teacher, every class gives me the opportunity to see that light radiating from within people as they move and breath and connect within themselves. As a teacher, knowing that students in the class may be experiencing their own moments of yoga is truly uplifting and inspiring. I believe in the transformative, healing, rejuvenating, restorative and uplifting powers of yoga, I’m driven to support and encourage people to step on the mat and keep returning back. And I feel that by doing that, I’m making a positive difference

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
People come to yoga class for many different reasons. For most, it may be a physical practice. Others may be trying to improve a medical condition like back pain. Emotional or spiritual healing is another reason. No matter the reason my students are there, connecting with them is part of the practice of teaching.
I like to encourage people to come into the room, give some time and attention on the mat on a regular basis, and they will begin to get more than they ever imagined. My students begin to nourish their starving spirit. They being to open up emotionally. Over time and with consistency, this becomes a lifestyle change.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
