About
Aikido of South Florida, founded in 1987, is one of the oldest martial art schools in Hollywood, Florida and the surrounding areas. Established by Stephanie Yap Sensei, a 7th dan, the school offers traditional Japanese martial arts classes for both adults and children. Beyond self-defense techniques, classes concentrate on unifying physical and mental prowess, stress relief, and meditation in movement. They also offer an exceptional after-school program. The school highly values etiquette and discipline, aiming to instill these traits into everyday life. Summer, Spring and Day camps are also available for children ages 5-15.
