Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

All prospective students are encouraged to take a free lesson (available by appointment) to see if martial arts training is right for them. After taking the lesson, prospects are free to ask question of the instructors and current students and have all their questions answered.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All instructors are Kukkiwon certified black belts in World Taekwondo Federation style as well as coaches registered with USA Taekwondo (USAT), the governing body for the U.S. Olympic taekwondo team. As the area's only USAT certified club, all instructors are background checked and certified in Safe Sport Anti-Abuse training.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

We offer memberships with varied levels of access to classes and resources. Prices are based on the amount gof access desired by the student from walk ins to unlimited membership.

How did you get started teaching?

Master Samuel began as a chief instructor for another school and has taught YMCA after school programs in taekwondo.

All abilities and special needs.
