About this pro

Looking to take on students that are new to yoga. If you've always been intimidated to take a group class or just want personilzed instructions with your yoga poses (asanas), I can help you with that.

I personalize in more of a restorative approach, one that helps to relieve stress, anxiety and chronic pain.

I was certified by the Chicago Yoga Center.  Yoga Alliance: #240317

I've been doing a daily practice for almost 3 years. Also, I continue my personal studies with the practice.

For me, I take my teaching practice from a begginer's mind. Where I observe my class and/or student and see what modifications that need to be inacted within the moment. This helps me to enjoy the moment and the personal practice that yoga is fundamentally about; how you feel in the moment. Practice changes everytime. This is the joy I have with yoga.

Paul has such a calming voice and he was really helpful and gentle with adjustments. Great session!

Paul is a very attentive yoga instructor. Making sure you are comfortable and relaxed in the space. Gently guiding you through the practice. Adjusting when needed. I appreciate Paul's attention to detail in calming music and being kind with your body. Challenging yourself and making breakthroughs - while also respecting your limitations. Every time I do Yoga with Paul, we make sure to address specific issues from that day and long term goals. I high recommend Paul as a Yoga Instructor.

Paul has a gentle soft approach to guide you through a yoga practice at your own pace and if you need a push he is gifted at stretching you outside your comfort zone to help further your practice and flexibility without moving too fast. It's very obvious this is his practice and art.

Paul has an incredible energy that envelops you from the moment you meet him. He makes you feel safe and taken care of, and radiates joy for his teaching. I found his yoga class to be very beneficial. He has a great mix of knowledge balanced with humor. I’ll forever be a fan of his!

Ask if there are any prior injuries?

How they are feeling at the moment?

How long they have been doing yoga/prior experience?

If they would like hands on assistance?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm in the process of getting certified in restorative yoga, I have taken worskhops (yin and prenatal) to further my studies. I recently went on a yoga retreat in Portugal to further my practice. I'm CPR certified, licensed and insured.
