Eric Miller, the head of Kicking Dragons Circle Martial arts, is a fantastic teacher. Ive been training for 30 years and competing in boxing and grappling for 10 years. I reached an impasse while sparring and competing so I reached out to Eric to ask for help. His ability to assess a persons strengths and weaknesses and build off of then is invaluable. I pretty much just go to him now when my coaches dont have any answers.
I even signed up at an mma school with a weekly open gym just so I could invite Eric since his school is too far from me. During our first session Eric helped us learn more than we had in the last four weeks.
He kind of reminds me of Dean Thomas in the sense that he seems to have an answer for everything except Erics knowledge goes way beyond just grappling.
I cant recommend this school enough!

Eric is the best!!! He has tons of practical experience and is a true expert in his field. His lessons are always organized and engaging, and he uses a principles-based approach that applies from one practical technique to the next, helping us synthesize each technique as we learn. Eric is great at modifying his teaching to meet each student where they are at, helping everyone get the most out of each class. On top of all of this, Eric is also a super nice guy! I cant recommend Eric enough!!

Eric is a great instructor. Especially in taking specific movements or attacks/defenses, and adjusting them for the individual.
He is great at breaking down the individual principles of Martial Arts and making you effective to what you as an individual need to learn to be successful

Beyond his technical expertise, Eric brings a genuine passion for martial arts to every session. His enthusiasm is contagious, and its clear that he genuinely cares about his students progress and well-being.
One thing that sets Eric apart is his commitment to holistic development. He doesnt just focus on physical techniques but also emphasizes the mental and spiritual aspects of martial arts. Through his guidance, Ive not only become a better martial artist but also a more centered and confident individual.

    Frequently asked questions

We start with the phone conversation to determine what a student is looking for and what expectations they have. Where we go from there is to customize the upcoming lessons to meet those expectations.

I have over 30 years in the Martial Arts, with over 20 as an instructor. I am also a CPR and First Aid Instructor.

Pricing is dependent upon student needs and the number of students being taught.

Began teaching in 1997 as a way to help my mentor and instructor rehab from a surgical procedure.

I have worked with students from all walks of life and all ages. From private citizens looking to learn self-defense to security, law endormecement and even military looking to enhance their skill sets.

Trust is the most important thing in learning martial arts. You must find a teacher that you trust and are comfortably with so that the process can be productive. That starts with being specific about your goals and understanding what you hope to accomplish within the martial arts.
