What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process for working with a new student is understanding what he/she would like to gain from their yoga practice. I also do an intake process where we discuss any health issues that I need to be aware of and set goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a medical background. AA in Medical Assisting, BS in Biology and a MS in Health Administration. I have my RYT 200-hours yoga certification.

How did you get started teaching?
My love for yoga came from wanting to find an intimate space to connect with her mind, body and spirit. Wanting to share my love and passion for yoga with others, in 2017 I decided to become a certified yoga instructor. I completed RYT 200 hours
certification at the Chicago School of Yoga then founded YoSoul Yoga, LLC.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with children, teens, young adults, adults and seniors. I have worked with students who have had limited mobility.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice to a student looking to hire a teacher is to find someone who is compatible to their yoga journey.
