About
Chicago Kitoh Shotokan-Sugiyama Karate Do, based in Chicago, Illinois, offers traditional Shotokan karate classes for both adults and kids. Under the guidance of Chief Instructor George Schlauder, with a 30-year experience in traditional Shotokan Karate, and other master instructors, students learn the style crafted by Sensei Shojiro Sugiyama. Classes are offered throughout the week with special instruction from Sensei Sugiyama on Thursdays. The dojo holds affiliations with several prestigious organizations, including the International Traditional Karate Federation and the World Traditional Fudo-Shotokan Karate-Do Federation.
