Kiku Matsu Dojo, founded in 2005, is a renowned Aikido school in Chicago, Illinois, and surrounding areas. More than a martial art, Aikido at Kiku Matsu Dojo is a path to self-discovery and personal growth for individuals aged 6 and above. The Dojo offers a comprehensive and engaging Aikido training experience, teaching effective but compassionate self-defense using leverage and timing. It's the only school in Chicago offering direct instruction from an Aikido Shihan, recognized by Aikido World Headquarters Hombu dojo. Emphasizing life skills like self-confidence, discipline and respect, Kiku Matsu Dojo has graduated over 25 black belts since its inception.
