Suibukan of Indiana, founded in 1965, is the third generation of Midwest Karate Academy located in South Bend, Indiana. With a rich legacy of over 50 years, it offers training in traditional Okinawan Shorin-ryu Karate-do and Kobayashi branch, Aikido, and weapons. The school, under the leadership of Shihan Kris Gravender and Shidoin Justin Hay, is known for its dynamic and flowing karate style, akin to waves crashing on the shore. At Suibukan, students learn to defend and attack with constant movement, channeling power, energy, and speed towards their opponent.
