Welcome to the New England dojo of Japan Karate Do Ryobu-Kai (JKR). JKR New England is part of an international martial arts organization with branches in more than 20 countries around the world.
We teach a style of karate called Shindo Jinen Ryu, which is not only one of the original Japanese styles of karate, but one of the very first to be recognized officially.
JKR New England is led by Sensei Paul Belle Isle, who holds 6th dan (degree) ranking and who has been involved in martial arts since 1985.
