One Step Beyond Martial Arts Training Center, founded in 1982 and located in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, offers world-class martial arts instruction in American Combat Karate and the TAMA Style of Self-Defense. This female-owned establishment provides karate, self-defense, fitness classes, and more for students as young as 3 years old to senior citizens. They accommodate various physical and emotional differences and offer private training, self-defense seminars, and even birthday parties. Currently owned by World Champion martial artists Erin Smith and Marie McKenna, One Step Beyond prides itself on training students to become the best versions of themselves on and off the mat.
