I use this knowledge to create self-massage homework to support a personal yoga practice. I am aslo very passionate about teaching Acro Yoga. Acro Yoga is a partner practice with a Base and a Flyer. It builds trust, communication, and lots of physical benefits too. It is also a lot of fun. I am available to teach individuals and pairs. Acro Yoga has a global community you can join. I love teachig yoga because it gives students valuable tools to handle life with more grace. It is such a pleasure to witness a student learn and reap the rewards of the practice. I have personally learned a great deal about my own body and mind and feel so much better in my body. I don't have the tightness and little aches and pains I once did. Feeling empowered and healthy is what I want to give to my clients.

It is extremely fulfilling to relieve pain and restrictions in bodywork clients or those I teach myofascial release techniques.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First, I book a short phone call to discuss the client's needs and interests, as well as determining if we are a good fit. This is also a time for potential students to ask me any questions.  Second, I provide a complimentary introductory session. Third, we set up a regular practice schedule.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

YogaWorks 300-hr Yoga Teacher Training - April 2020

YogaWorks 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training - Jan 2019

Partner Acrobatics, Teacher Training Certification – August 2016

Thai Bodywork: Coaching the Body Institute, Thai Bodywork Practitioner (TBP) Certification – June 2015

Tony Sanchez Yoga, 200-Hour Teacher Training Certification – February 2014

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Pricing varies based on session length, location, and frequency. A general range for a session is $70-120/hr.

How did you get started teaching?

I started practicing hot yoga not long after I had my ACL reconstructed. It really helped restore my knee range of motion to what it was. Besides giving me a more flexible body, it has also relieved stress by focussing my attention inwardly for 60 - 90 minutes. After practicing for almost 6 years I attended a teacher training with Tony Sanchez in Mexico. I taught yoga in Chicago for a few years before I moved to Maryland. I really love working with students one on one.
