I love teachig yoga because it gives students valuable tools to handle life with more grace. It is such a pleasure to witness a student learn and reap the rewards of the practice. I have personally learned a great deal about my own body and mind and feel so much better in my body. I don't have the tightness and little aches and pains I once did. Feeling empowered and healthy is what I want to give to my clients.
It is extremely fulfilling to relieve pain and restrictions in bodywork clients or those I teach myofascial release techniques.

First, I book a short phone call to discuss the client's needs and interests, as well as determining if we are a good fit. This is also a time for potential students to ask me any questions. Second, I provide a complimentary introductory session. Third, we set up a regular practice schedule.

Pricing varies based on session length, location, and frequency. A general range for a session is $70-120/hr.
How did you get started teaching?
I started practicing hot yoga not long after I had my ACL reconstructed. It really helped restore my knee range of motion to what it was. Besides giving me a more flexible body, it has also relieved stress by focussing my attention inwardly for 60 - 90 minutes. After practicing for almost 6 years I attended a teacher training with Tony Sanchez in Mexico. I taught yoga in Chicago for a few years before I moved to Maryland. I really love working with students one on one.
