Whenever I attend her class, I find more space, I find more strength, more confidence within. She drills us, and usually in our final flow, I'm impressed by what I am able to do.

Jan is a gifted teacher. When she demonstrates a pose it is a moment of awe that we could look like that and she will help us get to that! She knows what we need to concentrate on and plans that into the class such as strengthening poses. She is wonderful!!

While I am new to Jan’s teachings, I very much enjoy her classes, it is the highlight of my weekend. Jan is articulate as she thoroughly explains each sequence of poses with accompanying music playlist which make the class really fun and energizing, I also very much appreciate the spiritual connection she shares in the class for an incredibly wonderful experience!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We start by having a conversation about what you would like to get out of the practice, goals , past physical activities and any injuries or pain you are currently experiencing. Then, usually I do a more in depth assessment questionaire before we get started. A typical session involves conversation and sharing ideas, movement combined with other modalities if applicable such as meditation, nutrition and yoga therapy. I will always suggest homework because I believe and know the more work that you put in on your own, the more you will benefit from our sessions and progress will increase significantly. I always let my students guide where we go with our sessions because I want my students to achieve their goals and get the most value out of our time together. What you will learn in our sessions will always be something you can take with you and will carry on long after the sessions end.
