Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start by having a conversation about what you would like to get out of the practice, goals , past physical activities and any injuries or pain you are currently experiencing. Then, usually I do a more in depth assessment questionaire before we get started. A typical session involves conversation and sharing ideas, movement combined with other modalities if applicable such as meditation, nutrition and yoga therapy. I will always suggest homework because I believe and know the more work that you put in on your own, the more you will benefit from our sessions and progress will increase significantly. I always let my students guide where we go with our sessions because I want my students to achieve their goals and get the most value out of our time together. What you will learn in our sessions will always be something you can take with you and will carry on long after the sessions end.
