I have boxed professionally for 10 years and retired from the sport in 2015. I also competed in the amateur circuit. During my time in the ring I picked up some great techniques that I can adjust for anyone. In between my bouts I would train one on one with adults and children and groups as well. I am also currently an assistant youth wrestling coach and youth football coach. My workouts are great for someone who is looking to work hard and be pushed to their max or someone who is just looking to try something new while getting a good workout. The workouts are based on your needs and goals. I keep it very simple, work outs are held at parks or schools. I start with boxing basics, teaching foot work, shadow boxing, placement of punches and hitting pads teaching combination punching. While learing the art of boxing I also focus on working explosive workouts. Jumping, cone drills, ladder drills, push ups, core strength, squats, lunges, etc.

The best part about the work I do is seeing and feeling my clients sense of accomplishment. Knowing they came in with a goal and they acvhieved it. The enjoyment a coach sees from their student when they conquer a goal and accomplish something they didn't know they could, is one of the best feelings they can have.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin by meeting my student and get an understanding of what they would like to get out of their training session with me. My goal as a trainer is to watch my student conquer all goals they set for themselves. Once I figured out what the student wants to achieve I will them put a work out program together that includes shadowdoxing, punching mitts, cone drills, sprints, aerobics , streching and anything else I feel may be necessary for the student.
WE WILL BE TRAINING AT A LOCAL PARK AT A DISTANCE CONVENIENT FOR BOTH OF US!!!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I retired from professional boxing in 2015 with 31 professional bout. I boxed a total of 15 years including the amateur circuit. I have trained students in one on one and group settings at Black Tiger Gym in San Diego CA. I also coach youth wrestling and football and I specialize in youth conditioning workouts.
