Rick Westbrook is our general manager and fitness director. Rick comes to us with over twenty years experience in the fitness industry. As general manager, Rick handles day to day operations and is there to ensure you have a clean, comfortable and fun environment for your workouts.

Rick has built a fitness career on helping individuals reach their fitness goals. He holds many personal training certifications including: National Academy of Sports Medicine -Certified Personal Trainer, National Academy of Sports Medicine -Corrective Exercise Specialist, and PTA Global Master Trainer. Rick’s philosophy is that there is an athlete in each of us, whether you’re 8 or 88. First of all the staff are excellent, they are both friendly and professional. The organized group workouts are just the right degree of a challenge and the trainer always provides plenty of variety so we are always learning new exercises. Individual one-on-one workouts are more of a challenge and push the participant to improve their strength and endurance. In my case (and I can also speak for my wife) the sessions are tailored to work on specific areas of my body to improve posture and balance and strengthen areas weakened by injury and aging! I am finding this extremely beneficial. Finally the gym is extremely well equipped with a large variety of equipment so there is always availability
Early this year, we researched several fitness centers near our home, and chose Workout Anytime for it's excellent variety of up-to-date equipment, the overall pleasant atmosphere, cleanliness, and also the friendliness of the staff. Rick, the site manager, was particularly helpful with providing personal fitness training for both of us, as we had not worked out in great while. Rick is patient and understanding, and provided many exercises and workout routines that fit our needs, while also providing excellent advice on nutrition and injury prevention, and modifying a workout routine for one of us for both pre-and post-surgery. We were amazed at the progress we made in just three months - working at the gym 6 days per week, 2 of those days with Rick! We made significant advancement toward our weight goals, and have experienced muscle gain, better balance and posture, and a boost in confidence - all definite concerns as we grow older. After just 6 months we took a trip and were able to hike up a mountain, kayak, swim, do things we used to do, and generally keep up with our adult children! So, thank you Rick. See you soon!
Not only is the price affordable, but they keep it clean with lots of sanitizer around for clients to use and they have both group and personal trainers available. When I wanted to improve my overall health, a trainer was recommended and, once I started, the progress has surpassed my expectations. I can highly recommend having a personal trainer.
I like the small size and the local feel. No one is in there to be in a beauty contest or compare their physique. It's a nice adult atmosphere. I love my personal training regime and it's diversity. I highly recommend this gym.
