What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with clients from the age of 13 to 68. From your everyday weekend warrior, runner, cross-fitter, swimmer, biker, to clients with neurologiocal conditions, shoulder injuries, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, and more.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always ask questions regardind their movement education and continuing education. Be sure if you are looking to take Pilates training that you are actually getting Pilates training. There are a lot of blended work out there and while it may be good and a challenge...it isn't really Pilates.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is there intention for their work? What are your goals? And if weight loss is a large goal, remember that is mostly controlled by your diet.
