About
I am a mom of five and a grandmother of three. I am an RN, personal trainer, nutritional counselor, yoga teacher and reiki master.
I focus on the body as a whole, that is the mind, body and heart.
I enjoy empowering the client and helping them realize the strength that they embody not only in body but in mind.
All of my services encompass this way of healing the body in order to achieve complete equilibrium in body, mind and heart.
I offer personal training and reiki sessions for women and private restorative and yin yoga for all.
Please keep in mind, the Restorative yoga I teach and practice is very calming and restorative, we integrate each asana or pose and bring down the nervous system, so that the body, mind and heart can heal. Yoga is not about losing weight or being able to touch your toes it can transform your way of thinking so you are more conscious in your decisions in every day life so in turn you will be able to "think" before eating something that may not be healthy for your body, think before saying something that may be hurtful to others or to yourself. The transformation goes way beyond the mat.
Yin yoga is a more meditative approach with a physical focus much deeper than Yang like practices. We are trying to access the deeper tissues such as the connective tissue and fascia and many of the postures focus on areas that encompass a joint (hips, sacrum, spine). As one ages flexibility in the joints decreases and Yin yoga is a wonderful way to maintain that flexibility, something that for many don’t seem to be too concerned about until they notice it is gone.
If you look at my pictures on my website, you can see the type of environment that you heal in. Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s truly a personal experience whether we are personal training or having a yoga session together. I live in a cabin and both my yoga studio and gym were built with trees from outside making it a very healing environment.

With both you can get a much better idea of what I am all about and why I am so passionate in what I do.
A recent personal training client stands out, but many of my restorative yoga student "projects" stand out. The profound shift in the mental attitude for the absolute better in my personal training and yoga students are something that warms my heart with words I find hard to describe. I know this comes from training the body, mind and spirit and stressing the importance of awareness, the breath, and training and practicing yoga with complete presence of the here and now. All of this brings equilibrium in the body as a whole.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I assess each client and find out their goals and needs and go from there. If it is a match we work together on obtaining those goals.
