TaeKwonDo & Hapkido are Korean martial arts that emphasize the integration of mind, body, and spirit.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Grandmaster Choi emphasizes in his teachings that Martial Arts training is more than just being physically strong or being a formidable fighter - it is a metamorphic journey of transcendence through self-discovery, fulfilling one’s potential, and mastering mental control.
Grandmaster teaches that the purpose of TaeKwonDo and Hapkido is to achieve harmonization of internal and external dynamics. In addition to providing rigorous physical training including strength, flexibility, agility, and endurance, his vision is to impart a culture of empowerment through lessons on health, nutrition, inter-personal relationships, spirituality, and self-discovery. He welcomes all children, men and women of all ages, body types, and backgrounds to learn from him and discover their potential to achieve greatness.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
GM Choi is a GrandMaster, the highest black belt in the martial arts association, of Taekwondo, Hapkido, Judo, and Kumdo. He was the Korean National Taekwondo Champion, former Korean National middle-weight Boxing Champion, and is one of the original introducers of Taekwondo in the United States.
