Kage Ryu Jujitsu

Jujitsu is a defined as a Japanese martial arts system of unarmed combat and physical and mental training. When you look deeper into this subject of jujitsu, you will come to find different schools or Ryuha have similarity yet possesses their own flavor. At Kage Ryu Jujitsu we encompasses Danzan Ryu Jujitsu and Kodokan Judo along with other fighting systems. We are members of the US Judo Association which allows our student to hold ranks that are recognized by Judo and Jujitsu organizations around the world.

There are several benefits to training in martial arts no matter who you are or how old you are. For children martial arts helps develops coordination, memory and retention, self-discipline and respect for other and self. Martial arts also provide a means to defend oneself if the one cannot escape the situation. For an adult martial arts is a way for relieve stress in a positive and constructive way, promotes a healthy habits and give you a place where you do not have to worry about the outside world for a couple hours. We use the saying jujitsu is my therapy because you can leave everything on the mat. In our jujitsu program, as a student you will gain reality based self-defense training in a friendly atmosphere. Mental fortitude and confidence due to the nature of training as you move through the programs syllabus. You will also gain new perspectives in your daily life as you are introduced to the different philosophies which accompany the techniques that are taught in the jujitsu systems.
