About

Zachary started his journey in boxing after being turned away from traditional sports at the age of 15 weighing in at 330lbs. By his 18th birthday he was competing in the 165lb weight class as an amateur middleweight fighter and at the age of 22 he made a successful professional debut in the 147 pound welterweight class.

Although no longer competing professionally Zachary's love for training has taken him into the role of coaching and becoming a certified USA boxing coach. In 2017 Zach was able to coach 3 boxers to win the regional golden gloves in their respective weight classes.

Zachary has a passion for moving his body; moving his body with reason... or... for the reason... So who's moving who? Wait... what are we doing again???

I enjoy how every one has to figure the same things differently to play the game of boxing.

    Frequently asked questions

We'll talk about why, when and how to box. In the midst of all this I hope you'll figure out if you should box.

I've been a certified personal trainer and certified USA boxing coach while also holding certifications in sports and general nutrition.

I was the stereotypical "gym rat" in the local boxing gym growing up, you're  there all the time, people need help so...

I've been very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with very high level athletes in striking; from other professional boxers, UFC and MMA fighters, olympians from the US and abroad but of course that's not where I started. I started teaching a kids class when I was 19 and it's been evolving from there.

Decide what you want. I can give you a work out sure, I still work out too but now I work out to look good and move well; I ain't trying to get hit in the face anymore.

I'm really a teacher. I teach boxing. Boxing is a martial art. A martial art with no set hierarchy of structure. But there are "rights of passages'" I can assist you with. I can teach you how to box, I can arrange for to fight another individual from the amateur to professional level but I can't train for you. I've read this book and I know how this story goes... have you ever tried to read a book for someone else?
