About
My service stands out because of its personalized touch. The beauty of private lessons is in building a program completely based off of your unique goals and needs.
I am an E-RYT 200 with over 1,000 hours of yoga teaching experience over the past 3+ years. I teach both in-person and virtual yoga classes to children and adults of all ages and skill levels. I have taught at studios, offices, residential apartment buildings, a military base, elementary schools, senior centers, and community events. I also teach private yoga lessons to individuals and small groups. I am passionate about sharing yoga with others and look forward to working with you! I love working with students through the transformative practice of yoga and mindfulness.

I love empowering others through the practice of yoga! One of my favorite things about teaching is helping students accomplish their goals and realize what their bodies and minds are capable of. There is nothing better than that "a ha" moment when a student realizes they can do something they thought was never possible before. That might be as simple as touching your toes for the first time, or holding your first inversion pose! I enjoy giving people a safe space to practice yoga and move, breathe, and flow beyond the usual stressors of the day.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to have a conversation about what your fitness goals and yoga goals are. Why yoga? What am I looking to gain from this practice? Are there specific areas of pain or stiffness in the body? Are you looking to improve balance, flexibility, and/or strength? Increase the mind body connection? What other exercise/movements do you do? (Or will yoga be your primary form of exercise?) This will help us develop a yoga program personalized for you. If you don’t necessarily know what your yoga goals are, that is ok! We will work through that together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a RYT 200 registered with the Yoga Alliance. I have a Pediatric/Adult CPR & First Aid training certificate, and Personal Liability insurance. Additionally, I have a Kids Yoga Teacher Certificate. I have taught over 600 hours of yoga.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing varies depending on the size of the group, and whether the lesson is virtual or in-person.
How did you get started teaching?
In college I was part of the ski team. After graduated from school and entering the work force, I realized I was craving the same sort of physical and mental challenge of throwing yourself into an uncomfortable situation, and growing from it. I was able to find this thorough yoga again and then decided to do my yoga teacher training :)
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students with zero experience, to the experienced practitioner. I have worked with all ages of student from kids, adults, to senior citizens.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I’ve been adapting my yoga business to go virtual. I’ve loved teaching online classes, learning a new platform, and connecting with students from around the world!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Private yoga is a very personal experience, so make sure your instructor is someone that you vibe with and can laugh with!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
