About

Not only do I teach yoga, I practice it daily with teachers throughout the area to consistently hone my own yoga practice skills as well as my teaching skills. I have embraced a yogic lifestyle and it permeates every area of my life. I have special training to work with an aging population and my attention to detail lends an added value to my services.

I eat, breathe, and live my yoga. It permeates every area of my life and I have a real deep rooted passion for this unique science-based system that can help us age more healthfully and gracefully. I am currently upgrading my certification which calls for significant studying and reading and both current information as well as ancient cultural texts. I have always had a passion for reading and studying and I am thrilled at the amount of material that is available to modern day yogis.

    Frequently asked questions

Our first session would include at least 15 to 20 minute interview time before hand so that I can ask questions and ascertain clients general health conditions and yoga experience. We would then follow up with a very basic practice so that I can assess Experience and level and base our plan of action from now. This introduction time would include of course any areas of concern that the clients would like to address.

I hold a 200 hour yoga certification, I've had special training to teach children as well as special training to teach individuals with brain deterioration. I just completed my 500 yoga certification and I also just received training in CPR.

I charge a reasonable, going rate for private yoga sessions. Understanding the economics of today's world, my prices are negotiable and I can offer package deals to save money.

My practice became so evolved and I have reaped so many benefits from practicing yoga, so I wanted to share that with others. My passion for it is infectious and I value the many gifts of a yoga practice. Our world deserves to be happy and anything I can do to be a part of that is with the sincerest of pleasure!

I have mostly with adults. I have experience also working with kids and teens. I also have extensive experience working with infirm and an aging population and have specialized therapeutic training experience. I work with clients with Parkinson's, dementia, depression and anxiety as well as sufferers of traumatic brain injury.

This is a touch question, given we've been homebound for so long. The most recent that gives me hope is the US election and the restoration of a person in power who has the country's best interest at heart and who is not afraid to look beyond his white skin for answers. We need someone open minded and open hearted in the White House, no open mouthed with empty and hateful words!

Be open minded and avoid making a decision of study on first impressions, as there are many yoga teachers out there who can give you help, but it is a slow process that doesn't happen overnight, so it is important to work with someone at least a few times before you decide he or she is not for you. There is a yoga teacher for every yoga student out there, it is all about connecting.
