About this pro

I am a yoga therapist with 20+ years of experience. I work with health conditions that can not be accomodated in a regular yoga class, and use yoga tools beyond asana: meditation, breath, guided relaxation and mindfulness. I'm trained in iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation, and specialize in working with anxiety, chronic pain, injuries, and mobility limitations.

Empowering my clients achieve their goals is the best part of my work.

At our first meeting I will ask you about your goals. Then we'll design a practice that you can take home with you. At subsequent meetings we can refine and continue working on this practice.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a C-IAYT, which is a highest certification level in Yoga Therapy. I have been teaching yoga and meditation to both groups and individuals for over 20 years.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My regular rate is $100 per 55 min session. Discount is available for weekly sessions.

How did you get started teaching?

After practicing yoga and meditation for many years I wanted to share it's benefits with others.

What types of students have you worked with?

Over my 15+ years of teaching I have worked with practically every kind of student. As a yoga therapist, I specialize working with those with persistent pain, injuries or chronic conditions. I love bringing the benefits of yoga to those who might not be able to attend a regular yoga class.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Find someone who understands and has experience with specific issues you are facing.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
