About this pro

I teach yoga as a tool to wellness for all bodies, genders, and ages. I'm highly trained and a certified teacher of teachers as an E-RYT500. I support students to move towards optimal wellness, whether by increasing mobility, strength, or both, while incorporating breathing techniques and meditation into a holistic routine. My philosophy is that a consistent practice can come in all shapes and forms but should always leave one feeling better, and that's what I offer to my students. It doesn't need to be fancy, but in needs to work for you.

I've trained under leading yoga therapists in the US and under instructors in India. I've been teaching yoga actively since 2014 and practicing for over 16 years. My students work with me for many years, but always start at the beginning.

I started private lessons with alex after taking studio yoga classes for many years. In just 5 lessons, she helped me feel stronger in postures that I had done many times but without good alignment principles. She also helped me learn to do advanced postures. She is patient, not pushy and supportive and incredibly knowledgeable. I highly recommend working with her!

YOGARAHA with Alex is an amazing teacher. She is very technical and helped me to practice postures safely and beneficially in one on one lessons so that now when I take group classes, I know I am practicing safe and supportive yoga for my body. Her expertise is very strong and she’s great at encouraging me to practice yoga in a way that leaves me stronger and healthier.

I have been taking group and individual classes with Alex for 3 years. She taught me how to develop a yoga and breathing practice that worked for my specific goals. She is the most knowledgeable teacher I’ve ever had and is humble and fun at the same time. Thank you!

Alex taught me privately and helped me try new postures without pushing. I feel safe now to explore harder postures but knowing my boundaries
