I started teaching because of the benefits yoga brought to my own body and mind & spirit!  It was so good, I just had to share it!!

I've worked with a variety of students; some healthy, but the majority come with some ailment.  Ive worked with people with; Depression, PTSD, Anxiety, brain tumors, cancers, scoliosis, Fibromyagia, RA, Arthritis, high/low blood pressure, chronic pain, back issues, knee issues, shoulder issues, etc.

I'd advice them to be sure they are comfortable working with their teacher and they feel safe.  Also that the teacher is qualified.

what do they hope to get from their yoga session?

How much time can they commit to their sessions?  How often a week/month, etc?

How much time are they willing to commit to their practice away from sessions?
