HM Resin
About
There is nothing easy about resin. To do what I have learned to do so far (and I freely admit that I'm still a baby at this) I have spent a full year learning about the chemistry of different pigments - mica, spray paint, acrylics, inks, pastes, enamel... the list goes on and on, and how they interact with resin - thickening, thinning, and plain just not getting along. Taking that a step further and learning the different techniques used to exploit those characteristics. Learning the feel of resin and how to use color and composition with an unpredictable and fluid medium. Nothing about it is easy but everything about it is mesmerizing and addicting π I would love the chance to share my knowledge and ove of resin pour art with you.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will walk you through the process of creating your own resin art piece from start to finish. This two day class starts with. Prepping your board (I provide), measuring and mixing your resin, mixing pigmented resin, and finally pouring your piece. The second day is spent adding the final touches to your art work - sanding, polishing, and adding hardware. Trouble shooting future resin pieces is offered at this time as well. At the end of this class you will have a ready to hang art piece.
