My kiddos practice Karate at DOCS Martial Arts and one specific reason we joined this dojo after trying many martial arts schools was we have a son with Autism. Our kids have been going to DOCS for over a year and a half and we love the supportive atmosphere there.

Being a former collegiate athlete, I look for real training that provides real results, and unlike many other schools today, I learn to do things that will actually help me in a physical interaction.

Too many things I cant list all of them but my favorite one is that I feel we are a family. Going to the dojo feels like Im going to my house.

    Frequently asked questions

I like to get to know the students by having them work on the floor, and where parents are involved, have interactive communication with them.

I have been a martial arts practitioner since 1982, and share those years of experience with students.

Our martial arts program is priced at $1200 for each year of training and we offer discounts for the registration of three or more students from the same family.  One of the best financial features of our program is that We Don’t Charge For Belt Promotions!, saving you hundreds of dollars per year! Below are several different payment options for you to choose from.

    Option 1:  Pay-In-Full

Buy your one-year program in full and we’ll waive your $65 administration fee and discount your payment by 10%! You’ll pay only $1,080 for the year.

Plus, you can redeem 24 free private lessons before your year ends!

    Option 2:  $650 Down Payment

Pay $650 down plus your $65 administrative fee. You’ll pay only $50 per month for 11 months.

    Option 3:  $375 Down Payment

Private Lessons:  At DOCS for $50 per hour

At your place for $75 per hour

I taught as a student in our system for years before becoming a black belt, and followed in the footsteps of my master, continuing his system even after his death in 2006.

Disabled, autistic, seniors, toddlers, teenagers, adults, and persons with injuries.

Always check out the school, and get a feel for the school culture to see if the values and atmosphere fit not only your personality but match the direction you want to go.

You should think about why you want to practice martial arts, and consider what you expect to gain, as well as give in return.  Ask yourself how willing you are to be open with your instructor, and consistent in the program.  It will take commitment and repetition to really see progress.
