What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start from the ground up. Beginners are encouraged to try out a free introductory lesson before committing to any length of time. Once beginners are enrolled, we start slow and teach the fundamentals of our technique before accelerating to the next level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Grandmaster Carlo is a Kukkiwon Certified 7th degree black belt with over 35 years of experience. He specializes in training students of all ages, and all class sizes. He also started the Taekwondo Program at one of the largest tech companies in the world; Google. Pure Taekwondo has also trained business executives and top CEO's in the Silicoln Valley.

How did you get started teaching?
Grandmaster Carlo started aiding and assisting at his Grandmaster's school since the age of 15. As Grandmaster Carlo got to his 3rd dan black belt, he became the head instructor of the KTA. He then owned the classes for the advanced students, competitive and demonstration teams. During his time as an instructor at KTA, Grandmaster Carlo has produced over 15 national champions and have graduated over 500 black blets.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Please do your research before joining any martial arts. Find the one that fits your physical and health needs. Check out the other schools, check out their facilities and meet their instructors. Always check out and compare the kind of quality each school provides. Find out if they are a commercial school or one that tries to build a community.
