As an advocate for healthy body image, holistic health and wellness, I teach yoga as a way to promote courage, confidence and organic self-care. I enjoy teaching in such a way that weaves my deep understanding of alignment and anatomy with the inspirational connections to yoga I see in everyday life. The way each person chooses to interact with their own energy and the energy that surrounds them is worth cultivating an awareness with.

I embarked Asana practice 9 years ago in Bikram Yoga and deepened my practice through Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin/Restorative. Then I realized my passion to teach yoga when I incorporated gentle yoga stretch and guided meditation through a health education program I designed for seniors living with chronic conditions, such as type II diabetes and heart disease. As I continued to delve into my practice, a love of yoga compelled me to pursue the opportunity to educate others in a fun, stress-relieving and safe way.
All ages and different sizes. I started out working with seniors 60+ years of age then moved into working with adults and adolescents, including athletes of all ages.
I am truly fond of teaching yoga in the park and restorative yoga. I find it beneficial for the student to practice a restorative yoga practice.
For the goals and needs of the student, it would be beneficial for both student and teacher to have all inquiries, questions and expectations written down. That way the student will be well prepared in case other quetions may arise during the consultation with the Yoga teacher.
