The American Shotokan Karate Federation, known as the Shotokan Karate Dojo in Aurora, Colorado, provides elite level Shotokan Karate. Founded in 2018, it has a direct lineage to G. Funakoshi in Japan, offering self-defense based instructions. The dojo is recognized internationally and is the headquarters for the American Shotokan Karate Federation. Led by a 6th degree black belt, who is also a self-defense and security expert, they offer Olympic style competition, Jiu Jitsu, and security training. The dojo also supports local karate and funds a competition team.
