About this pro

I teach private Martial Arts lessons for all skill levels for those who desire authentic training. I have professional clients who travel to my facility because they don’t have the time or desire to enroll into a modern-day mega-dojo. I also have families who enjoy kicking together in the comfort of their own homes.

If you choose to train with me, lessons can be in your own home or community fitness center or at my personal workout facility. It’s a solid workout geared towards your personal level with lessons built to challenge, engage, and constantly improve.

I am a 5th Degree Blacks Belt Instructor with over 25 years experience teaching all ages from basic technique classes to world class competitions.

Whatever your goals ... we can reach them!

Although I enjoyed the many years I ran large, Full-time MA schools, something was missing and I was burned out ... 100’s of students, huge overhead expenses, and the inability to truly create individualized lessons.

I love seeing the “light bulb” turn on when a student starts to “get it”. I love witnessing personal growth and confidence. The true traditional benefits of Martial Arts are life-changing.

Andy is an excellent, knowledgeable instructor. He works very well with kids. Our 7-year-old struggles with focus, but Andy teaches in a way that gets his attention and keeps him motivated to learn.

Mr. Shivers is a great role model inside and outside the classroom, highly skilled in working with kids as well as adults, makes it fun for them, and creates a very positive and encouraging environment.

The class structure. The lead instructor Mr Shivers, has such a high level of dedication to his students that each student finds his own inner strength to excell and develop self driven determination needed to become what he sees in them.

I’ve taught Martial Arts for 29 years. I earned my 5th Dan in 2005.
