About

Jennifer began her home yoga practice in 2013 on the advice of her chiropractor. She suffered from chronic tension and pain in her body due to poor posture and multiple traumas. Within one week of practice, the chronic tension and pain started to subside. As her practice continues, she has developed flexibility and strength in the body, mind and spirit; improved her posture while building self-confidence; she has overcome insomnia, anxiety, and depression, has lost weight as well as numerous other benefits. Her passion for teaching comes directly from her personal experience of healing and improved health.

Jennifer graduated in January 2017 with her RYT200 from Frog Pond Yoga Centre in Princeton MA. In November 2017, she made teaching yoga her full time walk of life. Additionally, Jennifer is a Level 2 Integrated Reiki Master and is in her last few months of training to be an Ayurvedic Health Counselor. Ayurveda is the Science of Life, also sister science of Yoga, it is the practice of self-healing through lifestyle, diet and herbs.

Jennifer teaches a gentle beginner yoga class that offers various modifications to make classes accessible to anyone. She includes challenging options to allow continued growth for each student. She uses simple and clear instruction that is suitable for all levels. She is spontaneous and fun while drawing students inward to develop self-awareness and mindfulness. She builds a sense of community into her classes to provide a welcoming, safe, nurturing and comfortable experience. Her classes are often times infused with Reiki during Savasana and offers Ayurvedic tips to live a happier, healthier and more balanced life.

She currently works with people who are deaf and blind, with intellectual and developmental disabilities, suffering from mental health issues, struggling with addiction, young and old and everyone in between. Her experience includes working with special groups and private instruction. Jennifer says, “We are all different both on the inside and out. Naturally we will all look and feel different on our mats, and that is a beautiful thing. I am humbled and honored to witness such beauty in everyone.”

She believes yoga is for everyone and holds it as her Dharma, life purpose, to bring yoga to anyone and everyone who will listen. “If you can breathe, you can do yoga.”, you will often find Jennifer telling others who are uneasy to start a yoga practice.

Off the mat, Jennifer loves to cook, spend time with family including her dogs, hit the ski slopes in the winter and ride her motorcycle during the warmer months. More than anything, you will likely find her doing yoga in her backyard and being in nature as much as possible.
