I have been practicing yoga for 16 years and it is my passion. It has lit a light in me. I love working with kids and adults . It's a powerful tool that everyone should have and be able to use in all aspects of life.
I obtained my 200 hour certificate through Republic of Yoga in Cary and then went on to receive my 95 hour kids yoga teacher certificate.
I have worked with kids and adults. Every experience has taught me new skills to work with both populations.

Yoga is helpful in so many ways . I enjoy helping people and and want to guide them to find their light too . It has made such a profound impact on my life. I hope I can assist people in feeling better about their lives .

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to gather all the information necessary in order to work with them . I also ask a lot of questions. My first class is more about observation and seeing where their body lands in postures. After my observations are complete I then advise modifications.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in adult yoga and kids. My adult certification was from Republic of Yoga in Cary .
my kids certification is through Growga in Chapel Hill.
How did you get started teaching?
The reason I started teaching was because I wanted to give back . Yoga has had such a profound impact on my life. It has changed me mentally and physically. My mission is for everyone to feel this in their lives .
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with people starting from the age of 4 years old to 70!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice would be to find someone who's passionate about yoga . Someone who's willing to work with where you are mentally and physically.
