I am a certified yoga therapist and yoga teacher specializing in working with people who wish to overcome chronic pain, anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma. I teach yoga tehniques like movement, breath, and meditation to help people learn to help themselves.

My yoga journey started four years ago as a form of exercise. Little did I know it would be emotionally therapeutic. I was in therapy for C-PTSD and depression and came across Rhonda Waterhouse offering yoga therapy to help with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. Rhonda is authentic, kind, nonjudgmental, supportive, and inspirational. She offers a nonthreatening safe place to practice yoga with amazing handmade props and the coolest wall yoga system using straps combined with gravity which allows me to explore poses with no pain. Rhonda is knowledgeable and provides alignments as needed to guide me safely in and out of poses. She teaches modifications and adjustments to help my chronic pain. She is always attentive during class and brings props to my mat knowing exactly what my body needs. She challenges my comfort zones while also bringing me back to what I need most...my breath. Also constantly bringing me from my worries and overwhelm back to the present. Rhonda brings so much beyond the movement practice. She reminds me to practice gratitude and helped me understand mindfulness. Her guidance regarding meditation has been life changing. Her guided meditations are calming and renewing to the mind and body. She has recorded body scans that help my bedtime anxiety and I fall asleep quickly. Rhonda is determined to help me transform both the physical and emotional aspects of my life by providing practical suggestions for carrying my yoga practice off of the mat and into daily life. She has done every thing in her nature and ability to help guide and support me through my practice, life, and diagnosis. She has definitely found her calling and celebrates you exactly where you are. She is simply an amazing person, teacher, and positive influence in my life. Daisy Yoga has changed my life!
