About

Life Fit Inc. is a yoga, yoga therapy and pilates business offering group classes, private and corporate sessions, workshops, and retreats for over 30 years. My background is in Exercise Physiology (MS) and Kinesiology (EdD) with a niche in working with many populations: from competitive athletes to those recovering from surgery/injury, experiencing limitations, and/or simply wishing to improve mind-body fitness - all with a trauma-informed lens. Special areas of certification: Back care, osteoporosis, scoliosis, trauma, prenatal, childrens, and healthy aging. As a continuing education provider for Yoga Alliance, I am a co-owner of a yoga school, Institute of Integrated Yoga Therapy. Life Fit workshops and specialty classes are designed for new students yet yoga teachers will receive CECs. Group classes can be viewed/booked at www.lifefityoga.com/classes. Yoga therapy and Pilates private sessions can be booked at www.lifefityoga.com/private-sessions. All offerings can be applied in rehabilitative or in preventative ways to build resilience in body and mind. As "movement is medicine," exercise physiology encourages the following components of physical fitness in a weekly regimen: cardiovascular health, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and balance. In my private and group classes, I bring all of this to benefit each person. I want my students to build inner and outer strength, enjoy movement, become resilient and have energy to enjoy life. In addition, Life Fit group classes have a great community dynamic. I am grateful for the opportunities to help people stay strong, to live the purpose of their lives with ease and clarity, and together to celebrate the ripple effects.
