I have worked with spinal cord injured athletes, with obese folks, with champion athletes and everything in between. To watch functional mobility increase. Seeing pain eliminated or lessened, To watch strength increaes, fat reduction, improved posture, more energy, clearer thinking and a much improved feeling of self worth are my goals and joys and should be that of every trainer.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Create a full chart, including body fat percentage, mobility assessment, blood pressure and pulse rate, height and weight. First workout is exploratory to determine if there is anything preventing complete usage of the body. Then design a custom program.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Attended Adelphi University, certified by NASM and ISSA. Competed in wrestling, track, Olympic style weightlifting, bodybuilding, and power lifting. Achieved success in all. Still compete. Hold the world and national record in age and weight class.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, weights, conditions, some with injuries and or disability
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do not settle for out of the book trainers. Everyone is different. Create specific programs to achieve short term achievable goals. Success breeds success.
