I am an experienced professional who would be honored to be your guide as you begin, develop, or maintain a yoga practice. I customize sessions to my student’s needs on any given day. If a student is comfortable with it, I offer hand’s-on assistance. I adjust my style based on student’s preferences. For example, I can be more or less verbose depending on the amount of explanation, encouragement, or guidance a student desires in any given session.
In addition to traditional Vinyasa, I am trained and experienced in teaching kid’s yoga, pre-natal and post-natal yoga. I also teach Restorative Yoga which is especially helpful for people with chronic ailments.
The benefits of mindful movement, thoughtful breathing, and meditation in stillness include reduced stress, and an improved sense of peace, ease, clarity, self-love, patience, gratitude, joy, perspective, support, and connection. Improving physical, mental, and spiritual wellness allows one to live more fully by enabling increased productivity and enjoyment. Anyone who practices yoga will attain increased flexibility, strength, and confidence. Also, the aches and pains that come from our modern stagnant lifestyles are often eliminated or prevented. I love bringing these benefits to people and providing breathing and mindfulness exercises they can use to face challenges throughout their days.
